Disclaimer

All content based on or/and centered around or/and directly from Project Strife belongs to Era Lanke as of April 2014.

You acknowledge that, as a player of Project Strife, you make absolutely zero claim to the content of which you are participating with and taking inspiration from. You also acknowledge that, as a player, should you fall in love with your character or some aspect of them, you will only be able to claim them as your own once you remove every ounce of Project Strife and Project Strife inspiration from them to avoid issue with my copyright (I will even help you personally avoid this if possible).

You also recognize and will respect my copyright over this project and acknowledge that you, the player, in no way can redistribute, copyright, commercialize, or otherwise use my content for your own personal or business gain (this includes selling prints of fanart at conventions, taking/selling commissions for Project Strife characters (OUTSIDE of YOUR OWN that you have created for the project), ect ect) without my direct written permission. All permission to use my work (art, writing, the project itself, ect) must come with a clearly written and timestamped agreement between the two of us before you can proceed with whatever it is you planned on doing.

This project is, and may remain indefinitely, a CLOSED PROJECT.

This project, as of April 2015, is considered a closed project. This means that I, Era Lanke, hold all right to refuse you entrance to the project for whatever reason I deem necessary. Due to the sensitivity and newness of this project, I will essentially be "hand picking" its players and letting in those I trust and know personally. If you wish to join, but do not know me well enough (or at all), I may make an exception if you contact me via email at playprojectstrife@gmail.com. If you know one+ of the players, but not me personally, I may ask we have a three+-way conversation to get to know you better.

I do not have to explain my reasoning for not letting any individual join my project at any point in time, regardless of the individual's opinion on what is/isn't happening. I hold all rights in regards to who joins my project and who does not, period.

Content may not be suitable for all audiences.

Project Strife covers a variety of topics, most centered around content that may be controversial or meant for mature audiences. I ask that you read into the project with an open mind and realize that these characters do not always reflect their creator's views on the subjects they discuss, encounter, or respond to. Trigger warnings will be used as needed on blogs, however there may be times when, outside of tumblr's tag system, there may not be trigger warnings (such as for off-tumblr websites, within the comic(s) and image(s)/writing themselves, ect). Follow the project with your own health in mind.

You must be 18 or older to join and play within the project.

Due to legality reasons within the United States, every player of Project Strife must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to participate. If a player is discovered to be a minor, they will be calmly approached and asked to leave the project until they are old enough to participate (regardless of their country/region's age laws). If a player refuses, or is found to have lied about their age, they will receive an automatic ban and will not be allowed back into the project, period, under my (Era Lanke's) disgression.

You are responsible for your own actions, legal or non.

You are a mature individual. I, Era Lanke, am in no way responsible for any player dispute outside of myself and am not legally or financially bound to partake in player/player arguments outside of rule breaking and activity monitoring. If you have an issue with another player, seek to work it out with them first. If they are uncooperative or malicious, alert me and then I will interfere - however I am in no way a miracle worker and therefore am not responsible should the issue go south. I am only responsible for maintaining this project's integrity and taking whatever action I can to make sure it stays working properly and safely for both players and myself, even if that means banning, restricting, ect ect.

You acknowledge that you will not come into this project with any malicious intent, whether towards myself or other players.

Do not use my project as breeding grounds for hatred, bigotry, religious propaganda, personal gain, personal vendettas, or whatever other kind of negative intent you may have. This is a safe place for people to enjoy the creative process and artistic growth, not a breeding ground for drama or personal revenge.

Outside interactions are not monitored as strictly as those within the project.

Due to the nature of roleplay and roleplay culture, I cannot possibly monitor every single interaction people have and force them to avoid interaction. Every roleplayer is a person, therefore capable of monitoring themselves. I realize using the honor and trust system is quite faulty, but I expect you to acknowledge that if I find any sort of activity on your blogs that breaks the project rules, you will be first warned, then banned on a secondary offence.

I do not intend to micromanage my players.

Similar to the above statement, I cannot nor do I wish to interfere with my project players' decisions on who they interact with outside and inside the project. While I will be more encouraging for everyone within the project to interact, you are free to run your blog how you see fit (so long as you do not break my rules) and can interact with fandoms and individuals outside of this project as you see fit. This does include interaction with underage roleplayers, however as you will find in my rules, underage NSFW/smut interaction is strictly prohibited and will be punished by banning should I catch you.

As a player, you acknowledge you have read and will follow/respect other player's about pages and rules.

Due to the nature of this project, communication and understanding is key. Roleplay is not about strict regulations and competition, however due to a variety of reasons (that are not required to be told) individuals face in these community (across a broad spectrum of platforms used to roleplay), individuals have their own sets of personal "limits" (read: rules) they need others to follow for their own comfort. Don't take a person's rules lightly just because you may disagree with their POV. You are not that individual. You do not know their particular way of living, or handling whatever it is that led to their rules being the way they are. Yes, in an ironic sense, there is and can be quite a bit of elitism due to this fact, but that is none of your business. Most rules are reasonable; should you have questions or problems with one, ask the individual (off anon, preferably) why their rule(s) is/are the way it/they is/are.

I do not monitor individual's about pages or rules outside of generic canon requirements; do not come to me (Era Lanke) about a person's rules or about pages unless you notice they are breaking rules.
