What is Prosaic Roleplay?

Most people are aware of roleplay as some sort of real life encounter where two or more people act out a set of fantasies or unrealistic/fantasy scenarios with each other (both in and outside of the bedroom). Prosaic roleplay uses words and writing (with or without fictional characters) to do a similar thing, minus the sexual or game-like aspect of it (usually).

In short, roleplay is an interaction between two or more people where all parties act or write out a scenario within a fictional setting as a pre-determined character.
